No Data Collection

The Share to Telegram extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information. No analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind is included.

How the Extension Works

When you share a page, link, image, or selected text, the extension reads the current tab's URL and title (and optionally selected text) from your browser locally, and constructs a https://t.me/share/url?url=...&text=... link. That link is opened as a new tab, handing off entirely to Telegram. No data is sent to any server operated by this extension's developer.

Third-Party Services

Sharing opens Telegram's official share URL (t.me). Any data handling at that point is governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.

Permissions Used

• tabs — to read the current tab's URL and title for the share link.
• contextMenus — to add "Share to Telegram" options to the right-click menu.
• Content script on all URLs — to read user-selected text on any page so it can be included in the shared message.

None of these are used to collect or transmit data externally.
